How much do you charge?

The cost will ultimately depend on what type of site you desire. The more work of course on your page (e.g. additional coding such as javascript, imagemaps, frames, customized graphics, etc.) add to the amount of time spent on your site, and thus increase the cost of developing the site. Also the amount of work done on your part, such as wording of site, slogans, etc. help reduce the amount of time we have to spend doing those things, which will in turn reduce the cost of your site.

For totally customized web sites, which we call "Premium Sites."

These customized pages could include the following:

Customized Design/Layout

Frames

Customized Animation

Imagemaps

Java Script

Java Applets

Customized Navigational Buttons

Customized Icons

Background Music (assuming customer has received the proper permissions)

The cost of custom sites really depends on what you would like to have done. Therefore, after finding out what you would like to have done, we will be able to give you an estimate of the cost to develop your site.

Before any project is started, we will have you to fill out a questionnaire, and may ask any additional questions I need to understand the type of site you desire. This information is needed in order to give you a better estimate of the cost and time required to complete your site.

Also, for those clients on a budget, we also offer our "Economy Sites" (see below for more information about those).

Do you offer flat rates?
Yes, in order to make our web sites more affordable for smaller businesses and organizations, we offer our "Economy Sites" as low as $595 (US dollars). With these Economy sites you can choose from several available templates. You can choose your color schemes, backgrounds, bullets, and pre-designed icons. You can also select your font types.  This price is for web development only, and does not include annual domain registration costs and website maintenance and web hosting expense). Web maintenance may vary depending on frequency of web updates needed.

These also include pictures (if needed), and/or pre-designed animated graphics.

These Economy Sites usually include about 4 pages (including the home page).

We also have the 1 Page Starter Web pages for $175. Read more

Even our Premium sites can be done on a flat rate basis. Just contact us.

Do I have to live in Raleigh, NC in order for you to create me a site?
No, through the wonders of FTP (File Transfer Protocol), our webmaster can create your site on our computer, and transfer it to your web space via FTP. In fact, we never even have to meet face to face.

All we need is your IP (Internet Protocol) address or host address. This is your unique number that identifies your host. Usually represented by four numbers between 1 and 254 (for example: 192.58.107.230). This host address can also represented by your URL (e.g. www.yourcompanyname.com).

Then you simply have to give us a user account and password to access your web site, to make our updates.

What if I don't have my own web space, do you host sites?
Yes, we can provide hosting at a low cost of $30/month to be paid annually in advance. This price includes two minor changes per month.

We can even, give you lists of sites that will give you FREE web space. However, most such as GeoCities or Netfirm, require that you carry their sponsors ad somewhere on your site. Also persons visiting your site may first receive a pop-up ad of a sponsor's site first. But remember, you are not paying for the web space, but are using their space on their web server (computer) at no charge.

However, remember if you want a registered domain name for your company's site this is $35/yr (or $70 for 2 yrs.). This is to have a URL that is: www.yourcompanyname.com

I want my page to look totally unique, can you help?
Yes, with the "Premium Sites" package, you can have a totally customized web site.

However, we warn customers to stay away from wild/busy background graphics, and graphics or code that makes your web page too "heavy" (meaning it will take to long for viewers to load). People who regularly surf the internet are a little impatient. If a page takes too long to load most people will exit the page prior to it loading. For this reason, we try to minimize the (byte) size of our graphics, and try to have the home page if at all possible to be a very "light" page graphic wise, so that it will load quickly.

We will help you get your message across, with a site that is cosmetically appealling, provides ease of navigation, and (most of all) is informative.

I already have an existing page that I need polished up, can you help?
Yes, we can fix or spruce up your existing web page. This will be done at our normal hourly rates for our Premium sites, unless you decide to start over and use one of our pre-designed templates of our Economy Sites.

I'm interested, what must I do first?
The first thing you need to contact us, and we will supply you with a questionnaire that will give us an idea of what you need, and at what point you are (e.g. if you already have an IP address/web space, etc.).
